Artistic Milliners traces its roots to 1949, when the Ahmed family began its business in Karachi. It has since grown into a vertically integrated denim manufacturer spanning spinning, dyeing, weaving, laundry and garment production.

The company serves major international denim brands across the United States, Europe and the UK, and is known for sustainability initiatives including organic cotton, water recycling and circular denim. In 2025 it acquired a majority stake in Cone Denim, creating a significant multinational denim platform.
